About Me

Background Story

Formed in 2003. Drummer, Sam Cooke, leaves band and is replaced by then bass player, Matt Devine. Conan Roberts comes in to play bass. Recorded a split 7" with The Permanent for Speedowax Records at 284 studios in Brighton. Recorded a one-sided 12" record for Ghost City Records at in 2005. Recorded a 7" for Ghost City in 2006. Conan Roberts leaves just before Christmas 2006. Band continue as 4 piece until late 2007 when Ralph Simmonds joins on bass and Andy goes back to playing guitar. Abandon Ship played their last gig on Saturday 2nd February 2008 at The Barfly in Brighton.
