BRIGHTON DIY HARDCORE PUNK NOISE

About Me

Disclaimer: this is just a small glimpse of all that's going on in Brighton at the moment. Though I am trying to include more than just the things I am interested in myself - to keep it all workable, I'm not including every sub- or related genre, focussing mainly on the more hardcore punk stuff I know instead, as well as limiting the listings to those gigs happening in the smaller venues. Please use the links provided (bottom left) in addition to this page, to get a more complete and balanced picture of stuff happening in this town. I'd especially recommend the one for the great Punkerbunker, as Buz & Em are a lot more open-minded musically than I am ;) - and usually also a lot more in the know anyway.
The idea behind this page is simply to help (new) people find their way around town, learn about what the other punks are doing, help them promote their DIY (!) activities and perhaps work together a bit more. If you know of any gigs, activities, bands or whatever else you feel should be included (keeping in mind what I wrote above) but aren't yet, please let me know.
please note: unless you're called Framtid, there's no point asking me to do a gig for your band. This is merely a listing site to support the local punk community. Also - unless you're local (Brighton or the South East of England), I don't see why you'd want to be this site's "friend" - so I will deny you as 'spam' - unless you send me a message to explain why. Sorry to be harsh - but I've been getting way too many "friend requests" lately of pathetic losers who just want to add as many sites as possible to increase their band's "profile".
