Istvan & the Kozmas came together at the beginning of 2006. Though living in London Paul, David, Stuart, Anthony and Stef are from the other four corners of the known pentagonal world...namely High Wycombe, Scotland, Hong Kong and Italy.
Paul and David are brothers and along with sharing 50% of the same genes, have known each other for all their lives minus the age gap. David and Anthony met many moons ago on a bus in Micklefield Road in High Wycombe, now crawling with coppers searching for terrorists. They formed a friendship over a love of the Pixies, green tea and being late for work.
After years of almost writing music together, they finally did after deciding Stuart was just too good looking not to be in a band. He had been working with the lovely Nikolina, occasional supplier of background vocals and a girl with a good eye for a skinny boy. Stef arrived just in time to save the day with his dexterous fingers and larger than life hair.
