i am incredibly blessed, and that will continue to be the first thing i tell you about. i don't know who i'd be without God's love.i work hard. i go to the gym (most of the time). i just fell in love with "scrubs" and am obsessed with that right now. i love hanging out with hughes, laughing and being stupid and sappy. i miss being in college. i miss the girls. i miss o-staff and brown crew. i miss saa and football games and dorm dinners. but most of all, i miss spring sing. it was a good show, in case you missed it. you can borrow my dvd.i live in koreatown with van. i've known her for too long =) we're going on our 12th year. crazy. we hardly spend time together because of our stupid boyfriends, but we love them to death, so it's okay.i just started at a new job at, drumroll please.....ucla. i know, i know. but it's so much easier to move up there! i am back in counseling, this time the grad students in the chemistry and biochemistry dept. they're actually pretty cool. i was surprised. don't get me wrong, i love you scientific nerds out there... grad school is still on hold until i figure a few things out. trying to get stable before diving back into school.kristen's getting married soon. that's exciting. doug and i have managed to stay best friends despite seeing each other 4-5 times per year for the past five or so.i have fun when i go home and hang out with everyone, but i'm in a good place right now. i can't imagine being happy in orange county. once you move away, it's hard to go back to who you were before college. and it's hard to blend the new you with the old home. zach braff talks about it in garden state. see, obsessed.the thing i hate most in life is the fact that my brother and sister and i all live in different states =( i never see my 3 year-old nephew jacob in hawaii, and i'm meeting one-year old madison for the first time this Thanksgiving. can't wait!i'm going to grad school in 2 years for my master's in higher education administration. maybe my EdD. i want to be in charge of the kiddies who go to the college =)i love love love hughes choy. we do really dorky things like go on long bike-rides along the beach and go to museums and play monopoly, and i love it. and we really appreciate what we've been given. and i think that's a gift in itself - being able to embrace what you have when you're in the moment instead of always looking back, wishing you had enjoyed life more.and last but not least, i hope you know Jesus. He's got your back, and He is a gracious and loving God. each day, He gives me the strength to work, hope, and dream and the inspiration to spread His love.oh, and GO BRUINS!
