Carl Hiassen and lots and lots of nonfiction.

Myspace Codes

Anything by Carl Hiassen. Lots and lots of comic books. What can I say, I've embraced my inner geek. Check out the work of David Mack. He's a wonderful artist/writer who is doing truly unique stuff with the medium. I'd suggest his recent Kabuki series for Icon (Marvel) and his run on Daredevil from a year or two ago. Beautiful stuff. I recently read Confederacy of Dunces and it kicks ass.

Heroes:

Nelson Mandela -- Anyone who can be locked away for years and then move his country away from the apartheid system in a non-violent manner and without any revenge issues deserves to be all of our heroes.I have more but I'll save them for later.
