About Me

I'd like to think I'm an outgoing, bubbly person (but am the first to admit that I can be a bit of a chatterbox!) I have a strong creative streak and dance loads.I began to learn belly dance in 2004. I initially learnt cabaret style and have performed at numerous public events including festivals, dance platforms, carnivals, fetes, shows and family events over the last few years. I have also studied the more traditional folk styles of Middle Eastern dance and am able to dance with a veil and stick. In 2005 I began to learn American Tribal Style and in 2007 begand to branch out into tribal fusion. I regularly perform with an ATS troupe Khalgani and our fusion sub troupe Khalgani: Devils of fusion at events all over the country. I am confident with choreography and both group and solo improvisation in Cabaret, ATS and tribal fusion styles of belly dance. I continue to extend my dance vocabulary with a keen interest in Tribal Fusion and developing my sword and finger cymbal skills.I enjoy going out and having fun with friends on weekends but also like a quiet night in every once in a while. I'm a complete film junkie (cinema or rental) and I also love listening to music (couldn't survive the morning commute without my MP3 player!) My music taste is really varied but I guess is based mainly around indie and rock stuff (although I often wander off into a world of electro goodness!)
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
