KEEPIN IT REAL.......

My name is Gary and I live on Long Island, New York ......................................... Now, to let you into my world and let you know a little about me..... Above everything else, everything about me is real, Therego the name...Keepin it real... I'm not your typical guy by any means. I believe in people being who they are, not who people think they should be. I don't believe in impressing someone by being someone I'm not. I do believe in standing up for what I believe in. I'm a very sincere, open, giving, faithful, passionate and very affectionate person. I love to create no matter what it is: mainly, I love cooking, I have such a passion for it!! Cooking is all about creating. I'm always the comedian and I'll do just about anything to make an ass out of myself to make someone laugh. I love distractions that stimulate me, a good song, a beautiful woman, a great painting, an intoxicating smell, gorgeous weather, the company of good friends, etc. I am definitely a dreamer. I'm very much a romantic, extremely affectionate, verbally and physically. I love people. I love animals. I am a perfectionist and sometimes I'm the farthest thing from it. I'm very idealistic, always thinking about how the world can be a better place. I'm always striving to better myself, not just for me, but for the girl I end up with. I want to be a better man for her. I'm a lover. I'm a fighter for the things I believe in. I'm a healthy eater. Guess I gotta be, been told I'm diabetic 2 years ago. I'm confident, secure and very proud of the man I've become. I love my parents and am eternally grateful for all they have done for me. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here !! If I'm one of your close friends, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. I'm completely honest about everything, even if it's something you don't want to hear. I'll respect you enough to be honest with you. I have a very high respect and appreciation for women (98% of my friends are women). I know there is comfort in the little familiar things that drive us all nuts. That's the good stuff - the little things, the things we think about when they're gone, the things that define us and make us who we are, the things that are always overlooked. I don't need a national holiday like Valentine's Day to express myself, be romantic or do something nice for that someone special. I like to do something special for someone because they are special, not because I'm supposed to. If you love someone, you want to do those things all the time. I don't understand why men find it a burden to express their love to their women. For me, making her happy is what makes me happy. There's nothing I enjoy more than just being with a girl that I'm crazy about. I like women who are very affectionate (verbally and physically), sensual, passionate, romantic, fun, silly, intelligent, sophisticated, intellectual, independent, strong and open-minded, committed, faithful, supportive, kind, caring, considerate, thoughtful and warm, someone who knows the power of touch, a smile and a loving gesture, and yes a little bit of a freak.... I genuinely care about people and respect their different views, opinions and feelings. I think that more people need to learn to love and respect each other, embrace and celebrate our differences and individuality. I despise racism, sexism, people who disrespect women or do not consider them equal to men, any form of prejudice towards ethnic groups, cultures, races, creeds and religious beliefs that are not one's own. I love to go to the beach or just a quaint evening out with friends doing something different. I try to get to my Church every Sunday , as long as work allows me. I love going to concerts and I love cooking for the right person. I love to travel and need to do more of it. While serving my country in the United States Navy I was fortunate enough to travel around the world. Iv'e been to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Srilanka, Hawaii, Baharain, Iran, Iraq, The Phillipines, just to name a few. Many people don't realize how good we have it here in America, and won't know until they travel to other countries and see how they live. I love America, but there are some things that desperately need to be changed in this country, One of my major goals in life is to eventually open my own Restaurant, this I've been planning for quite some time now..............................................
