Living my dreams.
I'd like to meet:
People who exemplify my personal ideals: Open, optimistic, growing, learning, aware, peaceful, green, creative, passionate, playful, active.

Music:
Check out my band's video!
I'm a rocker. I'm also a musician - and as a musician, I believe it's necessary to have an appreciation for all forms of music. That said, I still can NOT stomach country. Fuck some country music. Uh uh...not gonna do it.
MY MUSIC:
I sing, play guitar, and write for the heavy rock band TAINTED. Check out our profile , or our official website ! You can find my "non-TAINTED" music at this profile .
WHAT I LISTEN TO NOW:
Modern radio rock, mostly. Tool, Sevendust, Incubus, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade, Disturbed, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, A7X, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bullet For My Valentine, Dark New Day, etc.But I'm not all-rock 24/7. I love me some chick songwriters a la Tori, Sarah, Paula, Loreena. You'll catch me listening to some New Age type stuff - and yes, that includes Yanni. Say what you want, the man's a talented composer. Bach is my favorite of the old composers, and I like baroque music better than classical or romantic.
BACK IN THE DAY:
I grew up metal, and I'll always love my old thrash like Pantera, Testament, Overkill, Metallica
(1983-1991), Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Opeth, Carcass, Crowbar, Death Angel, Meshuggah.I also have a weak spot for some old hair cheese a la Dokken, Savatage, Skid row, Whitesnake, White Lion, etc.
Movies:
The Big Lebowski, Man of the Year, Pan's Labyrinth, What Dreams May Come, Big Trouble, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, Incident at Oglala.
Television:
1. LOST
2. Denver Broncos games
3. SNL
4. Scrubs
Assorted others: Craig Ferguson!
Books:
This is where the freak in me becomes exposed... I read non-fiction almost exclusively - and what I do read almost always encompasses some aspect of the spiritual. From the life and readings of Edgar Cayce to the study of dreams to Sylvia Browne. Toss in the occasional collection of alien abduction encounters and a how-to on astral projection, and you get just a glimmer of my internal machinery.
Another near obsession of mine is studying Native American culture, language, spirituality and history. It's sort of faded the past few years, but it will always affect my world view.
I'm currently reading "The Big Book of Near Death Experiences" and waiting on Mahatma Gandhi's autobiography to arrive.
TOP RECOMMENDATIONS: Malcolm X's autobiography, The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception, The Little Engine That Could.
Heroes:
James Hetfield (1963-1991...RIP James, the die-hards miss you). Dimebag (RIP for real, brother - Hetfield can burn). My cousin Lynn for getting me autographs from Vinnie Paul and Jerry Cantrell. Malcolm X (the version of himself they killed). Russell Means. Tatanka Iyotanka (Sitting Bull). The Christ. Bill Clinton. Leonard Peltier for his patience. Howard Dean for his balls. The Dali Lama. Edgar Cayce.
