Bob Burger

Bob Burger is a singer/songwriter renowned for his skill in composing hundreds of hook-laden songs, as well as for the energy and emotion of his live performances. He has written songs for recording artists Styx, Donnie Iris, Glen Burtnik, Bobby Bandiera and many others, as well as for media conglomerates like HBO Pictures.To date, Bob has released two solo CDs: Surprise Party (2007) and Cymbals At Dawn (2003). Bob's work has been hailed for its master song crafting, musicianship and production quality. The CDs feature renowned players including Jimmy Leahey (John Waite), PK Lavengood (John Eddie), Bobby Bandiera (Bon Jovi, Asbury Jukes, Bruce Springsteen), Joe Bellia (Asbury Jukes), Jerry Gaskill (King's X), Rob Tanico (Highway 9) and Plink Giglio (Glen Burtnik). Bob performs regularly on the Jersey Shore in both acoustic and electric venues. Recent notable events have included gala CD promotional band performances, sold out NJ Rock & Soul Revue shows at the Count Basie Theatre, performances with Bruce Springsteen at annual holiday shows, and benefit performances backing Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny and Gary "U.S." Bonds.Bob has been a long time songwriting collaborator with Glen Burtnik, penning many of the featured tracks appearing on Glen's solo records including "Spinning My Wheels" and "Watching the World Go By". After Burtnik joined Styx, Bob co-wrote the title cut of the Styx Edge of the Century CD for which he earned a Gold Record award.
