*******************************************************I'm Cindy Callinsky, for those of you that are new to this myspace. I recently finished the autobiography, Rear View Mirror. I have poured my heart and soul into this book. I spent many nights laughing my ass off, but twice as many cryin' my eyes out.
I wanna thank all of you that supported me through the whole process, as well as after the fact. You all know who you are. If it weren't for your support I would have never gotten through it.
Somethin' about me... I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. I have five brothers and two sisters. I went to McKinley Elementary, Gault Junior High, and Lincoln High School. I have also lived in DeRidder, Louisiana and Heidelberg, Germany.
I love music (all kinds), electronics, and NFL Football. I love to sit home on Sundays, drink a lot of beer, and scream and holler at the TV. I always have an NFL jersey on. My jersey choice changes from weekend to weekend.
I love vehicles. Classics are my favorite but I know a cool "new" ride when I see one.
Anyhoo, here is a review that was posted on www.lulu.com . The book is still pretty new. I hope more reviews will be posted soon.
Rear View Mirror is an autobiography that reads like a high-quality chick lit work of fiction. It is the amazing story of a woman's journey to find family wherever life takes her. After the tragic loss of her mother and the later loss of her true love, she ends up in a painful marriage that results in the real love of her life, her son. Written in the first-person, you often find yourself feeling exactly how Cindy feels in those pivotal moments of her life. I found myself laughing, crying, and feeling just like I had found a friend in this book. We are all often haunted by those "what-ifs" that might have been, and the author's pursuit to settle it once and for all is simply magical. Anyone who has ever pondered on that one moment that might have changed your life should read this book. You will be glad you did.
