About Me

I write Historical Romance Adventures. My first novel, RENEGADE, is scheduled for release by Kensington Books in December 2008.

I began writing as a child. At first my stories were part fantasy, part science fiction, part romance. I had a flair for poetry and a love for words. The best part, no one ever said that my writing was too wild, too strange or couldn't happen. My parents encouraged me.
My family moved several times while I was growing up. Miami, FL, Mercer Island, WA and Bermuda. I attended Wake Forest University and graduated in 1989. In 2003 I founded a small writers group and in 2007 my first novel, RENEGADE was accepted by Kensington Publishing for their their Zebra Line.
Each day I set to work in the morning. Morning, coffee and writing are a habit for me, one that I protect fiercely. I takes a break each hour until I have done a good day's work. There are times life gets in the way. I have two children and a small horse farm, things happen. Evenings are family time,"
I am 5'8" of Russian and Western European descent. I am a lover of animals and have a collie (Erin) a sheltie (Skye), a rescue cat (Kisses) and a Tonkinese (Mushu). I ride trail and dressage on my Morgan horse, Tahoma. An enthusiastic cook, I love the Food Network and trying new cuisine.
My stories are character driven. They are known for their adventurous spirit, strong heroines, dynamic heros and sensual tones. I am a member of the Romance Writers of America. I continue to write historical romances, currently set in a variety of locations including England, Europe, Bermuda and the Caribbean from the 1700's to the 1800's. Locations are part of the fun.
