My inspirations come from all different angles and all different genres... I love music... Some of my biggest inspirations are producers such as Jonny L, DJ Muggs, Photek, Premier (Gangstarr), Die, Krust, Total Science, Skanna, Universal Project, Criminal Minds, Foul Play, The Beatles, Hyper On Experience, Source Direct, J Majik, Danny Breaks, Doc Scott, Optical, Usual Suspects, Nirvana, Bush, Wu Tang, MF Doom, Deep Blue and Seba to name but a few.
I was a DJ for 3yrs on London based Rude 88.2 FM with a fistful of other really talented DJ's until May 2006. I've taken a break from pirate radio for a while to concentrate on other aspects of music. Have also now played on the other two big 'London based' pirates: Origin FM and Kool FM as well as a whole host of other apperances on various internet radio stations
I started producing seriously in 2003, although I have been putting samples together and cutting up amens since 1996. My music exam work was a DnB track, which didn't get me anything in the way of good marks back then... (they weren't ready!) Drum and Bass is my main love but I also dabble in Hip Hop and Dubstep styles too as well as anything else that just emerges while playing with sounds.
In 2003 - 2004, studio time was filled with me regularly getting down to Cafe Music over in East London every Wednesday to work with Lethal. Then we invited Bio-Method into the studio with us and started a project called Cerberus which focus's on the different styles of Drum and Bass you might not hear so much on the main stage. Collaborations with people come and go but are always welcomed, and when I get the time of course, I am happy making stuff on my own.
I'm looking for people to chat sensible lyrics over Hip Hop / Downtempo beats so if you're style is adaptable, give me a shout...
Am now currently working with MC System and Bio-Method on some really different stuff... Loads of tracks done and dusted since Dec 06... Big up Bailey, Storm, Equinox, Alix Perez, Sabre, Flight, Nookie, Digital and anyone else giving us DJ support...
