About Me

Hails, my name is Bryer Wharton, I live in SLC, UT and cover all that is metal and other generes for the monthly underground magazine aptly called SLUG. So bands if you have any interest in getting any material reviewed just message me and we can get things in motion. I have years of experience with SLUG add to that over 5 years of experience working with Salt Lake's biggest daily newspaper The Salt Lake Tribune, which allowed me to write about more than just metal and was a truly valued exploration into the journalism world.On a more personal note I am very hapily married, with a nine-year old daughter. I frequent concerts in town, local and national bands, so keep an eye out for the mohawked dude with huge chops at the shows in town. Family is valued extermely in my life, everyone is tight and close.We all live hard lives, the key is to overcome those difficult moments to succeed and do what we love, more important than all the money and material things anyone could want.
