I love my family, my home, belly dance, sewing, Peruvian Paso horses and designing costumes. I also do everything I can to help others whether it's their health, their well-being or just to get through the month. I also love any type of folk dancing, medieval reenactment and costumes from any era. I also love to travel, especially to new and distant lands, but my favorite place is my own back yard (all 20 acres of it!).
I'd like to meet:
My dad (I haven't seen him in eight years), President Gordon B. Hinckley, President George Bush (who my stepson has already met), Paul Newman and the Dalai Lama.
Music:
World and ethnic mostly and country western. Favorites are anything for tribal belly dance, anything Spanish and Peruvian, Loreena McKennitt, and Trace Atkins.
Movies:
"Shall We Dance" with Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez, "Serendipity", "Midsummer Nights Dream" with Michelle Pfiefer. My other favorites are The Mummy and Return of the Mummy with Brendan Fraser, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Star Wars (all of them).
Television:
Don't watch any except for PBR Bull Riding on Saturday and Sunday nights and General Conference twice a year.
Books:
"The Work and the Glory" series, "The Two Brothers" series by Chris Stewart, "Eragon" series, "Earth's Children: Clan of the Cave Bear" series by Jean Auel (and I wish she'd hurry up with her last book!!!!) and just about anything by Shakespeare. I love LOTS of books!!! We have a personal library of 13 bookcases which I have nearly filled up.
Heroes:
My son, Jesus Christ, Captain Moroni, and anyone working hard in the best interest of others.
