Seth Feldman: We Just Want To Touch People

About Me

Seth Feldman is a band of four outgoing young men writing and performing music. The duties of playing guitar, bass, piano, drums, and other assorted instruments are shared by the four members: Benn Bartishevich, Stephen Burton, Scott Nelson, and Chris Ploss. Using their many personalities and talents, they create a unique blend of such styles as alternative rock, rhythmic pop, and piano-driven anthems. Their first two full-length albums, Proctor Boulevard and Every Day That Begins have received praise from, among others, Jim Catalano and Alan Rose, the latter of whom said of the band: "It should be illegal to be this melodic and hooky this consistently." Seth Feldman's most recent release came this spring with The Equistonaut EP, a five-song work that displays the band's continual growth and musical maturity. They have graced the stage at such venues as The Haunt, Castaways, Lost Dog Lounge, The Rongo, Wownet, The Nines, and played at both Grassroots and Musefest in 2005, in addition to numerous benefit concerts and fundraisers. They continue to write and perform music, and contribute positively to the Ithaca music scene. If you would like to get in touch with the band, e-mail [email protected] or talk to Stephen on AIM at swneptune.
