"Kat"herine Carrido was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, just east of downtown Los Angeles. She attended Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra, and graduated from UCLA with a BA in American Literature & Cultures, and minors in Urban Planning and Asian American Studies. She is an alumni of Samahang Pilipino and PREP, and was a former USAC Cultural Affairs Commissioner. She is also one of the original members of the Balagtasan Collective, and co-founded the FPAC Amateur DJ Battle. She recently started her own artist management and marketing consulting firm, 4eleven media. She is the daughter of Gerry and Belle Carrido, sister to Erik and Laurence, and currently resides in Northridge, California

"Hey, I'm Rex Sampaga and I am proud to serve as this year's Vice-President, the inaugural year of this office for FAN. Last year, I served on FAN Board as Membership Director and I'm very excited and looking forward to meeting and networking with all of you, returning fellow FAN members and especially to the new colleagues and acquaintances of FAN, for 2006. My day-job is within the music industry as an independent music publisher where I pitch songs and music to Film and TV shows as well as an artist manager and producing live music events."

"Hi I'm Arnel Dino, this year's Membership Director of FAN, I am excited and proud to be part of the FAN Board. I've been involved in the Filipino community and with various organizations. I am always volunteering at events and am very passionate about community work. Professionally, I work as a nonprofit consultant and grant writer to various community organizations and nonprofits. I am hope to get know all members and help make this year a great one!"

Roland has been a FAN member for the past few years and has also served on the FAN Board as a General Advisor. He works as the marketing director for Schneider & Associates, in independent claims investigation firm servicing California, Nevada and Arizona.

Plain and simple, Celina loves FAN! So she had to volunteer when the FAN Historian Position came along. Plus, she loves to wear hats, namely: massage therapist, songwriter, Pilipino native instruments player, singer, dancer, contortionist...yes, she has weird party tricks hahahahh... "What's up FAN-natics!? I first want to say thank you to everyone that nominated me last year, and again this year for the Events Director position. It gives me a lot of motivation within the position, knowing that my peers have the confidence in me. With that said, I am rounding out my first year in the Events position. Wow! What a year. It's been a lot of fun, AND lot of hard work coordinating each of the mixers and outside FAN events. Having sat in the position for the past year, I look forward to learning from my experiences and expanding the events side of FAN. My goal is to further nuture the environment that we network in -- the space, new faces, relevant activities, and significant guest speakers.
