Stage Of Existence, The Edge Magazine's "Best of 2005 Austin Readers Poll - Best Alternative Band" has grew into a widely liked rock monster.
Brian Runkel, Vox/Bass and main songwriter started the project back in 2003 having no luck until he found Brandon (Drummer) and (Guitar) AJ. This re-juvinated the project in 2004 to began it's journey playing entry level shows and recording the 3 song demo "The Demon"(2005). Steadily gigging since Jan of 2005, SOE debuted on the radio in September 20th 2005 on 93.7 KLBJ Local Licks Live with Loris Lowe and then in July 4th 2006 on Austin's Fox Morning News Television program.
They have been featured on the Edge Magazine's Showcase for “Real Texas Edge Vol 4 CD Compilation†2006 (2,500 copies) [song: Feel The Pain] and played their VOL 4 CD Release party in San Antonio at the White Rabbit.
Just like on all of the "Behind the Music" documentaries the band had a hiccup in early 2007 guitarist AJ Lujano had a close to death experience with a motorcycle accident. This delayed the release of their freshman album "Unknown". Now with a new drummer "Joseph Galvan" and a rejuvinated AJ they are back better than ever starting to promote the new CD.
