Sounds Like: Sounds like: a school bus crashing through the window of a music shop! We love gritty funk instrumentals, however, beating our instruments isn't all that matters to us! We find that if you're not moving forwards, you just slide backwards. We didn't collectively make a conscious decision to change direction, but over this past year our sound has evolved organically into something a bit more soulful and song-based. Recent collaborations with vocalist Vanessa Freeman and horn players Paul Young and Paul Jordanous have helped us forge a more refined sound: We've kept it tough though, but put a lot more thought into the writing and the performance........ Whats Japaning!
