Joe Sexton is Captain Happy

.Joe Sexton was born in Illinois in 1954 and he spent the next 45 years obsessed with music. From a childhood spent bouncing to Lawerence Welk and wearing bowties a la Perry Como, to a psychadelic blur through the 60's and 70's, and his popular local bands Rock Oil and The Saddle Rock Construction Company his very soul vibrated like wild electric guitar riff. Joe truly and completely loved his music, he had brushes with the oppurtunity to build fame, but it was always about the music.........Sadly with the music Joe also indulged in the rock n roll lifestyle, he contracted Hepatitis C and passed away in 1999 at only age 45. His legacy, his music lives on.....
