I have a bizarre and disturbingly increasing obsession with number stations, I love ice cream but have yet to discover the perfect flavor, i like dead things, i have my own clothing design studio that is doing so much better than i could have ever imagined so I am always up for a good clothes and design chat and most of all I really just want my own zombie, any volunteers would be much appreciated
people who know the value of self, people who truly care about art and music......................and any Bettie's, Creeps, Cowboys, Punks, Greasers, Psychos, Straight Edgers, Freaks, Rebels, Sinners, Belivers, Fighters, Losers, Dreamers and Goths who can think for themselves.
It's easier to say what I DON'T like - pop country, power ballads, most 80's music (Oingo Boingo being the only truly noteable exception), pop metal, anything full of so much hate that it's actually stressful to listen to, jam bands that just won't stop, Abba, the Beatles, Pink Floyd...... Everything else is fair game for listening, but mostly I listen to psychobilly, rockabilly, americana and anything with a damn good fiddle, punk, jazz, African drumming and Rob Zombie
I refuse to watch romances or romantic comedies, I don't like that crap and I am old enough now that if I don't want to see it I don't have to....I love horror flicks, but not a tired old slasher pic, it has to slaughter in an entertaining, funny or new way for me to get excited............. My favrotie movies are Live Freaky! Die Freaky!, The Nightmare Before Christmas,The Prestige, anything with a pirate or a zombie (mmm zombie pirates what could be better?) Moulin Rouge, Sin City, The Devils Rejects, Snatch, American Psycho and Grindhouse
There will never be any TV show greater than Lars Von Treers's "Kingdom", so I don't even bother trying to watch TV any more.
I have had this life long pet peeve about books, first of all let me say that I will read just about anything, doesn't matter the genre or the author if I want to read and there is a book there I will read it..........but I hate it when someone tells me, "you have to read this book, you will love it!" and then they will ask you at a later date if you have read it, ok first of all - telling me that is the one sure way to guarantee I will NOT read it, because how do you know I will love it? How do you know what books I love? Maybe you can tell me, "I just read this book and I loved" then I would be willing to try reading it. There has been one exception to this, when Brett said I would love "Stiff", he was right...........Anyway, I don't like vampire books, I think vampires are really whiney and gimpish, but I love Poe, Lovecraft and Robert Louis Stevenson, I have read just about everything written by Alice Walker and Gloria Naylor, and I agree with almost everything Nick Tosches writes. I like anatomy books and books from the 1950's about "current" events, fashions, etc of the time, and my favorite books are "The Serpent and the Rainbow" by Wade Davis and "Dreams of Tresspass" by Fatima Mernissi and I don't care whether you ever read them or not.
people who believe in themselves and don't use the past as an excuse not to seize the future
