Grandson of Vincent Van Gogh-Theo Van Gogh, shot down in Paris by an Islamic Fundamentalist for the release of this controversial film "Submission", has become one of my heros for his work in attempting to expose domestic violence in a culture that denies or ignores the laws to protect and honor women as instructed all throughout the Quaran. The references to and about AllAH are not meant as literal negative criticism of ALLAH or Islam. It is meant to speak to the silent voices of all women who are not represented or heard in cultures that stuggle with honor of their ancient familial and cultural traditions and the actual message of Islam. Material is graphic in parts-1st- Intro prayer is sung in arabic but entire film spoken in English.
