YO CHECK IT,
I'm a DJ & stuff based in Stockholm, Sweden, but originally from Budapest, Hungary. I play raw techno and house beats sprinkled with random good stuff FOR YOUR BODY MIND AND SOUL. I got hooked on this computer music thing from listening to my mom's Kraftwerk records when I was a kid, and then started out playing drum'n'bass at small parties in the nineties when drum'n'bass was still good. Then I spent a few years experimenting with everything from hip hop to rock'n'roll until I got a residency at legendary Stockholm nightclub Paradise in 2005. Since then it's been pretty much all UNTZ UNTZ but I still like to switch it up FOR YOUR BODY MIND AND SOUL.
At the moment I run a night called Ficks at the F12 terrace in Stockholm, together with my friend Makode Linde. It's totally crazy! Previously I ran a night called Nacht at the Spy Bar, which won lots of awards and stuff and was also totally crazy! From November 2006 on to April 2007 I was the manager of Teatron, Stockholm's finest venue for electronic dance music, but I kinda got fired cause the place was a financial mess. Did some amazing nights there though. I may or may not also be strongly connected with Stockholm's finest underground party promotors, Kruthuset.
Since May 2007 I regularly host the P3 Dans show on national Swedish radio, which the people at P3 tell me is the biggest show for electronic music in Scandinavia, yay! If you're a producer or label person working with electronic dance music and want your tracks to grace the Swedish airwaves, don't hesitate to send me some music.
Over the last few years I've played before, after or together with some of the world's greatest DJ's and live acts, such as Vitalic, Matthew Dear, Ewan Pearson, Ivan Smagghe, Mathew Jonson, Radio Slave, Gabriel Ananda, Shinedoe, 2000 And One, Joris Voorn, Roman Flügel, Tadeo, Oliver Koletzki, TigerSkin, Sweet 'N Candy, Technasia, Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlbäck, John Dahlbäck, Switch, and many more. I've played all the major and minor venues up and down Sweden as well as a variety of clubs and festivals in Berlin, Barcelona, Budapest, London, Antwerpen, Prague, Brno, Tallinn and Copenhagen.
