Always The Underestimated Underdog

About Me

What could I possibly write about myself that wouldn't bore you tears or hasn't been said before? I'm an actor/ writer. Yet I am not a waiter. (That would make me a cliche'). Don't be afraid of the photo's that I've chosen. (Forget that starving artist Cliche', too) I know that I look like some derranged English Prof., spouting off about how, if Shakespeare was alive today, he'd be writing for "DEADWOOD" (You mean he isn't?)I put those pics there because A: I've lost several pounds since then and B: Who cares if I was (And still am)Fat? I'm losing weight now because I want to, but man I had fun gaining and holding onto to it too. What am I saying? Well, maybe, this was who I was and I like it. If you don't, it's your choice. I grew up in a large family (10 of us) in an haunted house. So I love ghost stories. But, please, every time I mention "haunted house", every black lace and leather wearing child wants to talk "serious" and it becomes very boring. But it's part of my life. so ask if you want, but don't go nuts. I am a story teller (tall tales, folklore and such) This doesn't make me a liar (too many people have asked)but I will say that when I do tell the thruth, sometimes I make it a lot more interesting for the listener when telling it. Actually I am setting all of this up so Old Friends can find me and New Ones can discover me. I stumbled into this place and thought that it was a good as any. So if you were expecting to see scantilly clad models, sorry and move on. However,if you want someone who can give good conversation, write me and say "Hi

My Interests

Theatre, movies, books, politics, religion, science, family and a good discussion of why the cow jumped over the moon. Absolutely anything that will not harm others for the sake of one's ego or self-centerness, but will actually but a smile on a person's face for all the right reasons. And of course, joke telling. because not enoungh people tell a good Joke.

You Are 80% New Jersey!

You are definitely Jersey. Well done, my friend. You are most likely from this great state, and you fit right in. Odds are, you love being Jersey!

How New Jersey Are You?

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is not clingy, needy or the lead in their own self delusional psyco-drama. (I pretty much have that covered) Seriously, a good conversationalist. Someone who can talk about politics, art, life, or isn't cool that the sky is blue. Someone who can show wit with words. Some you can have a conversation and knows that the first rule of conversing is not to talk but to listen. And of course, someone who know what they are talking about.

Music:

Music? Yes, please. The only way to get through life.Any style from any era. I don't wnat to limit myself. The best to know someone is by what they listen to. And what inspires them to create. Fatboy Slim - Weapon Of Choice
..

Movies:

Good ones. I don't care if they are B&W or Color. Foriegn or Domestic, Artsy Fartsy or Entertainment Fluff. If it's good, I'll watch it. But, for the love of all thing holy, and the safety of all children, no more Will Ferrel. He's just not that funny. CRY

This is long, but I come on at the 17 minute mark. (I'm also about 25 pounds heavier)

Television:

Anything but reality televison. Not only does it show the ugly side of people (You can't sing, You're too fat, Get off the Island, etc) Once you put a camera in the room and people know about it, it's no longer real. But anything else on TV, I'll look.Doctor Who,Battlestar Galactica,Deadwood,Soprano's (I live in Jersey so it's the law),PBS,Countdown w/ Kieth Oberman,BBC,and whatever is on when I am wide awake at three in three morning after haveing too much coffee. (But you never can have TOO much coffee, can you)

Books:

"The definition of a classic work of literature is a book that everyong has on their table and no one has read". -Mark Twain

Heroes:

Me. That's it. I could give you a list that range from movie stars to sports legends and end it with Captian America. But, when push comes to shove, the one who saves me the most is me. When I see something wrong, I try to do something about it. I have no cape or cowl (They make me look fat) yet I have done some amazing things for people. I have saved the world, or atleast part of it, from time to time. Just as I'm sure you have saved your own part of the world from time to time. As my father (another hero of mine) always said, "Be sure of your convictions, because if you have to stand for them, you may end up standing alone"
