Req was established in 2002 and has since performed with numerous bands, locally and in the Bay area. Req has also made appearances on local TV and radio shows, including hosting there own internet and satilite show on X-radio.biz, which supports over 5.5 million listeners.
The group itself has also been considered by several American music labels, such as Psycopathic Records, Monster Music Group, and has even been noticed by Sony Records.
Req also hosts there very own Myspace.com website, where they have over 2000 unique listeners and close to 1000 plays on each individual song.

Req (pronounced Wreck) is short for the word Requiem, picked up by the trio for its deep yet simple meaning; A song or hymn of mourning composed or performed as a memorial to a dead person. The most famous example of this would be, the Requiem for mozart.
Req was originally a rap group but quickly integrated singing and screaming as well. They are strongly influenced by Rock, Rap, Electronica and Classical but are appreciative of all genres of music. They also enjoy and have worked with various producers and are allways open to new sounds and ideas, Req however, are the sole creators of all literary compositions and there overall sound.In the begining, there was only an idea... Though as time progressed, what started off with a laptop some jacked beats from the internet, and a whole lotta meaning...
