The Canadian Independent Short Film Showcase (CAN INDIES) was created as an alternative to film festivals by showcasing
selected entries on a single night. Film festival audiences average 12-75 people, but the CAN INDIES allow selected
entries to be shown to a mass audience, including press and members of Canada's film and television industry.
This is your red carpet gala event!
The CAN INDIES is an advocate for the growth and development of the Canadian
Entertainment Industry and encourages all filmmakers, amateur or established, to submit their material for consideration.
