About Me

I'm a commercial and editorial photographer who also has a background in graphic design and journalism. I did my first paid photos at 16 - which is now 30 years ago.

Guitar is also a big part of my life - I've played since I was 16 and have done both covers and originals in rock, AOR, jazz, blues, and even punk back in the day. I have both electric and accoustic guitars.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Models in western Canada, photographers, and bands who need photography. Also would be interested in jamming with people or bands doing blues, alt and/or folk.

Music:

Indie music and musicians.

Heroes:

My main hero is a guy I met back in my reporter/editor days. I was covering a convention of "over 40" bikers who had gathered in the town I was working in. I asked who the oldest person there was and they pointed out a fellow who'd just arrived. After interviewing the 72 year old biker, he asked what time it was. I told him and he happily replied "I made good time, I was passing everybody. You can do that on a MotoGuzie." I have a picture of him, but what you don't see in the picture is the 24 case of beer he strapped to the other side of the bike he'd brought along for the weekend. I thought if I'm like that at 72, it'll have been a great life.
