The world's only funeral director rock star.

About Me

Writer, musician, funeral director?I guess i was a fan of... something. I ended up running Crimson magazine! 26 issues which become a labour of love and hate. That spirals into a minor record label. I release 4 compilation albums of "What Sweet Music They Make", vampire (and not) inspired goth music, some of which are the first appearence on CD for many notable acts (don't THAT seem weird now)! And, do you remember those bloody DEAD SEXY t-shirts every fucker had? Yeap, that was me! 7 years after I start writing the fanzine, I'm in a band called The Narcissus Pool with a mate of my brother who is only the 2nd person in the world I know who likes Rosetta stone, depeche mode and NIN! I'm in a band with him, and not, and again for 9 years with varying degrees of critical aclaim and degredation. Life moves on. I still work and so I follow my nose into my fathers trade, the funeral business. It doesn't smell as bad as you think. The band continues but we get pissed off with the gig side of things... after only 54 we hang up our guitar strings. We still record, don't we? These days I'm writing again. A sitcom or novel based on my experiences in the funeral trade. I can't believe that people will believe it's based in fact. What happens now...? Well, whatever happens, hey, it's a ride! Obviously I'm want to sell my script, have it on TV, and see it grow into a global phenomenon bigger than the Office and Fawlty Towers combined. However, I'm firmly of the opinion that I have the best, most satisfying job in the world, and I can't imagine ever doing anything else. When I'm internationally famous I think I'm gonna still conduct funerals... besides I'll need the inspiration for the second series of my epic!

Boys don't make good muses!
