I shoot photographs ever since I remember myself, but my essential relation to creative photography begun in 1995. Occasionally I go through all stages but try to remain the creator, either this has to do with a professional assignment, or a personal project. Approximately for four years I use digital video as a means of expression.
What usually leads my steps is my internal drive. There can be a long period of time without any creation and yet suddenly one day a sentimental canvas to unfold in front of me; it waits to be filled with colours of my soul interacting with my surroundings.
Then, a torrential process starts that springs from my innermost part and everything seems magic, beautiful and with a naturalness that is out of this world. I then start the creative process as an intermediary of a certain internal reality that explodes in pictures and sounds. The process can be also painful at certain times if recollections and well-hidden secrets are externalized. But none ever came out intact from the battle of creation and occasionally the pain of birth is the issue on demand.
I use aesthetic tools as subtle carriers of messages without specified receptors. I am used to saying that I create for God, not because I am not interested in human being but because when I want to communicate with them I use a warm smile or a melancholic look. When my works happen to have a positive response by some people this makes me happy, but not fulfilled.
What makes me reach my destination? I guess the route itself, unless something I cannot predict appears. When this happens I am open to revise anything. Concerning optimism I believe humans must follow a revolutionary path to fight Evil that surrounds us and threats our existence. Above all we must not forget that we are humans and we must not forget to remind this to others who might not have the luxury to remember such a thing within the realms of a reality that strikes us from every possible direction.

I believe that the inside world of an artist contributes to his work. Even in the most uninteresting works of art the psychological world of the artist is there and calls us to walk along the path of understanding. If understanding becomes a reality then the real essence of the play is revealed. This is the phase where problems start as the inside world of human beings is not always so beautiful or profound. It might hide traps or even an absolute nothing.
I wish Art came back to the creators hands and escape the nets of the dictatorship of exhibitions: to be able to pose a means of improvement of human beings and stop being a way of promoting opportunists and traders. I wish to the creators of any kind to turn to their inside worlds and improve their selves and the surroundings that they can influence."
