Skidmark has performed at a variety of venues ranging from The Culture Room, Metal Factory to Original Fat Cats and Club Freeze, Cheers, Tavern 213, LuLu Bait Shack, Revolutions, Performing for 94.9 Zeta at Pro Player Stadium, and Fort Lauderdale’s River Front. The group was a finalist in Hill Girl Productions Big Time Talent Show, and went to New York and played on the military ship the ‘Intrepid’. They received many awards and recognition in showcases, battle of the bands, etc. Their first album, So What Shut Up, was recorded with Ron and Howard Albert of Audio Vision Studios (formerly Criteria Records). Their second album, Lost Identity, was released January, 2004. Songs off of both albums have had airplay on WZTA 94.9 FM and on WKPX 88.5 FM in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. They continued on with power and passion to make their third CD ‘Lobotomy’. With out hesitation the boys continued their journey and rock the local scene better than before with bigger venues, better sound, a new CD, and a whole new generation of fans. They are more focused then ever before to push the envelope of commercial main stream rock and open new doors for the production and record companies to walk right in. They are Skidmark...
Alex Guzman (Vocals) – discovered music at age 8. He found the opportunity with Skidmark. He loves performing on stage and can vocally sing just about anything thrown his way. He is a professional to work with and finds himself involved more and more with contests, show case’s, vocal competitions, and straight up gigging. He is a rising entertainer with a great future.
Lex Lopez (Vocals) – Lex has 10 years experience in playing and performing music. His talents include songwriting, playing guitar, bass, and drums.
ED FLAVIN (Guitar) – Ed has been playing guitar for 20 years and his talents include electric guitar, song writing, acoustic guitar, electric bass guitar, piano, keyboard and drums. Ed has worked in various recording studios with many big name producers and engineers developing 3 Skidmark CD's. He has been interviewed with local press and radio establishing himself in the South Florida music bizz. He continues to strive for the next best thing for Skidmark.
LLOYD GOLLER (Bass Guitar) – Lloyd has been playing bass guitar for over 20 years and has been writing music for almost as long. Lloyd has worked in various recording studios with many big name producers and engineers developing 3 Skidmark CD's.
