“All right, it's getting crowded in here. Everyone out. Everyone out. C'mon…..Not you, Scottie.

About Me

Karaoking has become an obsession. So has kayaking. When I add camping into the mix, I have a trifecta of unusual size. (I just noticed that, in true 'Princess Bride' fashion, that would be referred to as a "T.O.U.S." Which, considering my screen name, is a little bit of a freaky-deaky coincidence.)I adore my friends. I wish my family were closer. I can't live without black coffee.

My Interests

Jogging, hilarity, karaoke, trivia nights, exploring Seattle's cuisine one place at a time, eventually learning to knit, and people who challenge my perceptions.

I'd like to meet:

Bono, John McCain, David Gray, Cassandra Wilson, Jon Stewart, Eddie Izzard

Music:

Impossible to list.

Television:

I love 'Lost' like I love lamp. But I'm continually amazed by the fact that I *rarely* watch television, and when I do, it's DVD seasons after the fact, and yet I have no time to do anything. When do people find time to watch TV? Or what the hell do I do with my time?

It's only taken me half a year...

...and near-incessant badgering of Fredo and BK, to figure out how to upload the pix I've taken with the Razr phone somewhere on the computer.  I thought I needed software, a CD-ROM, some kind of...

"...ac y maer arglwyddes yn dod."

This series was one of the touchstones of my youth, thanks in part to a great elementary teacher who introduced me to both it and The Perilous Gard:  And now, finally, when the world of CGI ca...

Any port in a storm...

Rental-hunting is stinky when you have a deadline, and it's supplementing my dissatisfaction with the city in general and certain facets of the country as a whole. That feeling really hit last night, ...

Out of the mouth of patients

There's a lot of paperwork involved in my position here at the UW.  Fee sheets for the providers, consent forms to sign, packets to make up in advance, stickers for medical records purposes...we ...

Moving on up(date)...

Got home last night to a letter from our property manager (former).  They were still unoffiically communicating with us all about the sale and eventual condo remodel of the building, but now they...

In the interest of truth, public shame, and self-flagellation

(You're right, Nik, I can't handle this truth.) I just checked the Shoreline site for my grades this quarter.  I did great in the Alpine Hiking class...not a worry there...and thank goodness I di...
