MortalBass was set up in february 2006 aiming to support the growing Breakcore/Mash-Up scene, bringing in previously unseen DJ's and PRODUCERS,we are also opening space for new talents . We are not looking to raise money but we are looking to expand,share and increase the awareness of this genre.

DIRRUBA!!! what is that?:
DIRRUBA means to knock something down in portuguese
DIRRUBA used to be a kind of house party that used to take place in Sao Paulo, and also our atitude of being a public nuisence. We used to nuisence people and also things that we were against of. The music expected to be listenned to could be from hardcore, breakcore, industrial techno, industrial noise and bla bla bla. Me Rogerio Dirruba aka killerbomb, together with Enrico, Bruna Rocha and Markus aka Murdarah used to organise small party inside a building that we used to reside in Sao Paulo for about 2 years. 6 months later the house could not hold all the people that used to come and see us playing so we had to start doing it propely, like renting out a venue that could hold at least 500 people. The first big party we had about 900 people squeezed in a venue that would only hold about 600 people, but even so it was a good night. We never used our real DJs or real names, we used to always change our names and try to give ourselves differents funy names as we always thought that music was more important than our mutherfucker names. DIRRUBA could be everything or nothing, it depends on your way how you see us, the only certian we are is that we could be a bunch nuisence on our neighborhood.
