Empowerin The Silenced To Recover The Voice Within

About Me

Voices of the Voiceless International Health Organization (VOTV), is a global non-profit organization that seeks to work with all key stakeholders to ensure the inclusion of the Voices of Voiceless members of society in both the national and global conversations on public health (total well-being) issues that affect them. The Mission of the organization is to empower and enhance the capacities of the Voiceless in their efforts to identify and express their Voices and to be recognized as valuable and contributing members of their societies. Voices of the Voiceless recognizes that in most parts of the world especially in the global south ("developing world"), the voiceless are often the youth and is therefore directong all its current resources and programming at empowering and enhancing the capacities of Children. Voices of the Voiceless recognizes that in order for it to be effective, its efforts must be directed at both the upstream causes and the downstream effects that stem from the marginalization of certain sub-groups of society. To this end the organization partners with communities on projects that seek to uproot the root causes as well as provides services to deal with the fruits of this marginalization and creation of the so-called Voiceless. The Vision of the organization is to see the recognition of, demand, inclusion and respect for the Voices of the Voiceless in community level, national and global discussions on public health issues. VOTV is working towards the day when all Voices will be seen as having equal value in conversations seeking to address public health and well-being issues at all levels of society. www.voicesofthevoiceless.org
