How To Do A Screen Shot:
1. Hold down the alt key press the prnt scr key.
Don't worry if nothing seemed to have happened,
it did you just didn't see it is all.
2. Create and open a bitmap or also know as paint.
3. Select edit option once you have the bitmap opened.
4. Click the paste option in the drop down box, this will
then paste you screen shot into the bitmap.
5. Next click on the file tab, and select where
you want to save the screen shot to.
6. Next go to the next box and name your screen shot.
7. Next drop down box select the file type to save as,
using one of the following png gif or jpg.
8.Don't use bitmap as a means to save the screen shot as,
the reason it is very large size, and uses up more space,
on your hard drive than is really needed.
9. Click save, and close the bitmap. The bitmap is now ready
for the next time you need to use it.
The Truth About Trackers :
Using any type of tracker, including the visitor map types, is prohibited by the T of U. A tracker is classed as third party software programming, and as such not permitted. If one is found that does work it won't work for long, as "MySpace will break it," this includes the visitor map type trackers. Also many of these trackers will work for doing eight things:
1. A fast way to get your account deleted.
2. A fast way to lose control of your account by compromising it,
and gaining access to your log in information.
3. A third party script, which is used to violate the rights
of privacy, of other users on MySpace.
4. Any that are paid for are an easy way to lose money, as most
are money making scams that do charge.
5. Also a means of accessing credit card accounts, that are
used to pay for those that are paid for, and stealing that information. Which then can be used to defraud the card holder.
6. Remember trackers are scams to steal your personal information, and also send out bulletins in your name, to get
others to use them.
7. Some of the more malicious trackers, will take control of your profile, and start posting comments that can be difficult to remove. You will have no control over that!
8. The worst of the worst trackers contain a trojan or other script or change something within your computer to collect personal about you,
which is then sold. It may take a reformatting, or the services of an
expert to remove the script placed in your computer.
More About Trackers :
If trackers were legal then why would they have such disclaimers at the very bottom of their policy page? The reason is that they know that their trackers are illegal, for use on MySpace, and will get a user deleted. The reason this is placed on another page, then all the way at the bottom is based on one fact, that is they know people in general will not take the time to read it. Here are just three of examples to look at.
Need proof they are illegal then look at the following, directly from MySpace.
Those snippets alone, should be more than sufficient to show that trackers are not legal on MySpace. So if someone says otherwise tell them you have been shown evidence that proves they aren't, and no less than by the makers themselves.As to those that you may find that don't, the reason is simple they want you to remain ignorant of this
fact. Also they may be afraid of someone, taking as I have done, and shown that they in fact do know this, and using it as conclusive evidence, that they know better. For the makers, user ignorance is bliss. It's also their way of deceiving users, by leading them to believe that they are permitted.
How To Delete Those Hard To Delete Comments:
Go to "View All Comments," then scroll to the comment, or comments needing deleted. Check the box next to the comment, or comments, that you want to delete. Then scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the delete button there. Below is an image showing how, and where to do the deletion safely.
Do not ever use the delete option under the comment. As doing this can result in the compromising of your account.
Please note, that this is not the work of a hacker, but a friend, or some of your friends have been compromised, and aren't aware that they were, and are sending out these spam comments. Take a few minutes to notify them that they have been compromised.
Let them know that they need to do the following steps in this order. First empty the Cache, Cookies, and Temp files. Next clear the Recycle Bin, then change the password. If those files aren't deleted they risk remaining, or becoming, compromised again.
