About Me

Welcome to my site. My name is Shaun P. Stakem and I am a young man from the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex just getting into photography. I got interested in photography just over 3 years ago after buying my first point and shoot camera which was the Canon S400. Since then I have had quite a few cameras including the Canon S500, SD550, and most recently my first SLR, the Nikon D200. I am still new at this so I would love to hear from everyone and anyone on what they think about my work. All of these photos are a sample of my work with many more to come. I have recently become interested in wedding photography. Just the idea of getting to capture the moments of a couples most special day excites me. I am willing to work virtually for free as an extra photographer for anyone so that I can work on my skills with wedding photography. If you or anyone you know is getting married and you think they would be interested please let me know! If you do not have a MySpace account you can contact me at [email protected]. For the purposes of this account I'm looking to add anyone that enjoys photography and likes my work. Oh, and if you have any tips on where to shoot in the DFW area please let me know! Thank you for taking your time out to visit my page. Have a great day and take care.
(I'm not trying to be a jerk but if you put a comment on my page please be somewhat creative or at least write something more than just "Hi". If you don't, than I will just delete it. And please, no HTML. It's just that I like to keep my page looking nice and neat...it's just the way I am.)....

So I would mainly like to meet photographers or anyone that enjoys my work on here to be able to get advice and constructive critisim to help me improve on my future work. And just to let you Texas photographers know, TexasPhotoForum.com is another great website to meet local photographers and to get great advice. Check it out! Thanks.
