It is never too late to be what you might have been.

About Me

If you catch me staring at you in what appears to be deep thought I'm probably determining which muppet looks the most like you. I prefer people watching in the middle of the night at 24 hour discount grocery stores over getting together for drinks in swanky bars, would rather orchestrate a parade of weiner dogs in costume than organize a functional filing system for my tax receipts and have been known to drink Tab through a bendy straw in public, not because I enjoy the one calorie beverage, but for the sole purpose of my Tab awareness campaign.

My Interests

Exploring and expressing stories through various art forms- especially film and written word. I love acting but can't seem to get over my fear of auditioning so I'll be forced to someday live vicariously through any future children.Travelling and cooking are big interests, too. I'm a calligrapher and am intrigued by the illuminated manuscripts produced during the 15th and 16th centuries in France. (We all have our secret pleasures, what can I say?)

I'd like to meet:

After meeting Ralph Nader on my 17th birthday I'm left to ask myself, "Who else could I possibly need to meet?" I'd be curious to meet the "Cowboy Cupid" and see how life in Mexico is treating him. I'm more interested in meeting hypothetical people- like when you see a shopping cart obstructing traffic in a parking lot and you say to yourself, "What idiot left that cart in the middle of traffic?"

Music:

Anything karaoked after several drinks is music to my ears...let's just hope I'm not the one on the mic.

Movies:

The Leeward Tide, Adaptation, Matchstick Men, American Beauty, Once Upon A Time In Mexico...

Television:

I haven't quite figured out my obsession with Court TV, just an interesting character study, I suppose. Kind of like a guide to "red flags" when making new friends or something. I used to watch FoodTV thinking I'd get inspired and make a cake or something but instead it just made me hungry.

Books:

Watership Down is my favorite book.

Heroes:

According to Tina Turner, I don't need any more heroes at this time.

Another sleepless night...

Technically, it is Friday so my gym membership is valid for the next 23 hours. Maybe I'll go do that. Or I'll stay up all night reading. Or read at the gym. Oh, the possibilities are endless.Valen...

Dizzy

I drank a pot of coffee this morning before going to the gym. Either I was very zen with the eliptical machine, speeding along at hummingbird speeds, or I was like a hamster in its wheel after smokin...

Here we go... Again.

5 1/2 bottles of champagne, 1 bottle of wine, and over 1/2 a bottle of Jager went down too easy and too quick between 4 people on New Years Eve. So here we go, another year and a list of obligatory r...
