Nothing new really.
Old classics like The Shining, The Clockwork orange(I LOVE Kubrick's movie music, it's so good)...and older horrormovie classics from 20s to 50s. Old westerns, Taratino's movies(especially the obscure 60s garagerock music in his movies is SO GREAT), splatter zombie films are also very entertaining. Burton's(old) films are also mostly nice and likeable. There are too many others to mention though..I cannot even remember them all..
Young ones, Studio Julmahuvi, Wonder Showzen, The league of gentleman, the moomins...I can't remember anymore..
I read actually more comics than books but....to mention few: The Shining, fast food nation, no logo, all the LOTR-books. Neil Gaiman's work as a writer and author are fine. From the comics I've liked Wendy Pini's Elfquest much, since 8 year old. I really like Petri Hiltunen's comics about Jaconia and the aboriginal american stories about a siouxsie indians. Enki Bilal's Immortal+others is good too. Peter Pank is hilarious(LYKANTROPUNK!)....and I like Milo Manara's works too.. and..well..there are so many comics I like, I don't remember all of them =)
