Been a while since I updated this opening spiel so here goes.... well I like what I like. Thats sounds kinda nondescript I know, but I'm one of those people who has his own opinions and just doesn't care if it's not the view of the mainstream. In fact, as far as fashion and similar herd-mentality goes, I'd rather die than be another member of the labotomised monotony that makes up the collective public consciousness! That said, I'm very loyal to my friends, find great inspiration in the natural world, work very hard when I see a real reason to, and have a lot of love in me. This sort of comes back to bite me sometimes, but I live and learn, and through following this philosophy, despite coming off the rails once or twice, and maybe having the odd 'breakdown' (OK so maybe I don't recall a certain 18 month portion of my life, but hey); I've learnt to never expect the world to fall right with me. I know this sounds pessimistic, but if you trust to hope, you invariably wind up hurt. I now realise this sounds paradoxical, that I've put forward 2 very contradictory aspects of myself. But if you know me, I guess you'd have seen this in me already! LOL I spent a lot of time wishing I could change things, that things could turn out slightly differently, but I feel I understand it now. Through a lot of the heartache, and realising I couldn't get what I wanted, I know things worked out the only way they could. We can only play the hand we're dealt.
