Raised in former East-Germany, the "Boom" of Techno in early 90s, fullfilled an -till then- unknown part in Sebastian's life. Since those days electronic music with all of it's facettes in culture, lifestyle and art became the center of his world. He started playing with all kinds of production gear without knowing anything of rules, styles or even "The Masters" of this music. Later the praised „Detroit Techno Religion“ gave him the tool of concentrated-radical creativity into his hands. Mike Banks once said: "Only music which knows to be free can be radical, groundbreaking!". The wish to spread his interpretation of this vision grew and grew, hitting all types of techno related things like flyer design, party promotion, deejaying' and live acts, from the age of 14 on, helped Sebastian to get a sharper image of what people call "Techno". The year of 2000 saw Sebastian's first vinyl achievement, his 4 tracker "Instant EP" was released on his own label "Content" (CNT..00a). This very limited release was enjoyed by many and had heavy rotation in the DJ sets from artists as renowned as Jeff Mills...
Running his own club from 2001-2002 brought him contacts to the international Techno scene. After releasing some records on smaller labels - Sebastian's production skills developed more and more. In 2003 Sebastian began to send out tracks to a few well respected Techno labels. James Ruskin was the first who answered, shortly after that Mark Broom replied. So Sebastian's first releases to an international public have been enabled. Well accepted, Sebastian started to raise his profile doing EPs for various labels such as Coda, Pure Plastic, Mainout, King Of The Snakes, Bio and of course the relaunch of his imprint Content. Sebastian Kramer's music has been played by many... Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Gayle San, James Ruskin, Ben Sims to name but a few... 2004 also saw Sebastian's first album "Principles and Tactics" released on Pure Plastic (PP059). Playing only DJ sets over the first years, Sebastian set up a new live act. He wanted to have some classic approach in his show, so he tried to keep the laptop support as small as possible. His gigs took him around Europe, playing big events as "Awakenings Festival", or "10 Years Kozzmozz" alongside Adam Beyer, British Murder Boys, Deetron, Joel Mull and many others...
2006 will see Sebastian developing his deep-detroit Techno mixture even further. Artist collaboration with Tresor's Pacou as well as new projects for his Content label. After years of hard-techno influences the new vibes in electronic music begin to fuse in his arrangements and sounds. The strong connection to the last 10 years of Techno and the open minded view into the future will take Sebastian's new projects to the next level.
