There are a lot books I don't like, like Plath's "The Bell Jar", it made me want to stick my head in an oven. And Ethan Hawke's "The Hottest State" which for some god unknown reason I actually tried to read....I thought maybe it would of been like Training Day. I do really like Russ Kick's "You are being Lied to: The Disformation Guide to Media Distortion, Historical Whitewashes, and Cultural Myths" as well as most of his other books. Nabokov's "Lolita", Ondaatje's "Collected Works of Billy the Kid", Paterniti's "Driving Mr. Albert", David Sedaris and Sarah Vowell, the Little Golden Book classic "The Pokey Little Puppy" which is a complete metaphor of my life. Legs McNeils & Gillian McCain's "Please Kill Me; An Uncensored Oral History of Punk". That one biography on Marvin Gaye where his bodyguard catches Marvin in his hotel room high on Coke with sheets wrapped around his head and 666 written on his forehead. Any book on Elvis (scandalous preferred).
Brian Dennehy (he makes it look so easy!)
