About Me

I am the Campus Outreach Manager at UCLA to pay the rent...but am an actress-comedienne and a few other hyphen-y things to feed my creative soul. I perform and teach comedy with an Improv group here in L.A. I like to do Martha Stewarty stuff (but, try to refrain from insider trading). I love to cook and bake. I also like sports (I know the difference between an ERA & IRA). I Love going to Dodger games & basically enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. I am a big girl...but, I have never let my weight stop me from doing anything. I have a ton of diverse interests & am often distracted by shiny objects...(ohhhh car keys!)...More than anything, I love to hang out with funny people & laugh till my martini comes out of my nose!

My Interests

I love just hanging out with my friends...having dinner parties, BBQs , game nights. I go to as much theatre and live music as possible. I like dive bars and hole in wall diners...spicy food (the hotter the better) good vodka martinis and cheap champagne. I LOVE baseball (I bleed Dodger blue!!!)...I enjoy basketball...college ball especially...Not a big football fan...but, will throw a fun Superbowl party, if pressed to. I'm in an improv comedy group and perform weekly. I love to travel...road trips RULE...and have been to most of the 50 states and too many national parks to count.

I'd like to meet:

Well, other than...Russell Martin, Jack Black, James Gandolfini & Duff Goldman...pretty much any fun, cool people...I am always interested in meeting fellow actors, comics and writers. I love spending time with creative, talented people.***While I appreciate a flirty email just like the next gal...I will delete any "hey baby wanna hook up" messages in a hot minute. Let's face it, I have dated A LOT & at this point am looking for some substance and *gasp* a real man that is not afraid of a grown up relationship...that having been said, if you MUST send me a comment about my rack...feel free.

Music:

Beatles, Billy Joel, Stones, Prince, Bowie, Dylan, Who, Journey, 80s dance music & metal bands, blues, funk and some Old School rap. I love Candye Kane, an amazing blues, swing, rockabilly singer (If you don't know who she is, she is on my friends list, check her out!) I also like a lot of country...Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Martina Mc Bride...the stuff that rocks, rather than twangs! I also dig old big band jazz and standards, I mean really...what goes better with a good martini than that???

Movies:

Waaay too many to mention...so I won't even try!

Television:

Total HBO junky! Sopranos & Entourage...I really miss Oz, Deadwood & Sex & the City...Love Law & Order, and, as much as I hate to admit it, I am way into few reality shows...Project Runway, Top Chef...and *blush* Dancing with the Stars (I know, I know!) When all is said and done, there is not a show I would put my real life on hold to rush home to watch, though...(okay...maybe a Dodger/Giant game)

Books:

I read a ton! (I was in the book biz for 25 years, I kinda have to!)I would take up the whole page with just a few of my faves...suffice it to say...I am a TO-tal bibliophile!!

Heroes:

Golda Meir, Gertrude Berg, Sophie Tucker...any woman that was told they were too fat/ugly/tall/skinny/ethnic/dark...(fill in the blank) to be successful
