About Me

....i take nothing i have for granted. i have my own image of what a perfect life would be like for me and i wont stop working until i achieve that...or death. whichever comes first. i direct and produce music videos and feature films for a living. music is one of the few things i take seriously. i've chosen a career in film but it's difficult not to laugh at the business sometimes. cinema is dead. cinema es muerte. Unlike cinema, music videos will never die because music will never die; no matter how dangerously close it flirts with the idea, it will never happen. i would like to preserve the visual integrity of music.things that inspire me are: women, and perpetually trying to understand their alluring affect on me; screaming, general discord; healthy families & broken homes (interchangeable); bulldogs and why they inexplicably make me smile on the worst of days, pornography, tarantino, sometimes kubrick, alcohol, melody, my desire to live in the good ol' days of the 1950s where things were always so squeaky clean on a surface that covered up debauchery and brewing revolutions. i want the feeling that i'm being pulled by what is right and what is wrong in all directions. always.

My Interests

finding ways to keep myself interested. i also enjoy boxing, following futbol internacional or "soccer" (!Viva Portugal!), traveling to europe once a year or whenever i can, drinking things that probably taste worse than gasoline and have a worse affect i'm sure of it, breaking things in violent fits of rage and then apologizing profusely for it, the pittsburgh steelers, hanging with the few good friends i have left, self-reflecting (also known as lying), working, and giving it to your sister. hard.
