Send an email, I'm currently focused on energy work, spirituality, art, nature, music, humor...etc, etc, etc...friends new and old. I dig dialogue!
Please don't send a friend's request without a message. Say hi!! :)
My most wonderful friend, Normally , allowed me to steal his code. He's in my top eight for a reason! :D
Music. I LOVE MUSIC, just about all genres.
Currently in love with Gnarls Barkley, Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Ringside, Bright Eyes, Damien Rice, Kings of Convenience, Jem, Bad Religion, Interpol, Blue October, Elefant, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Shins, Snow Patrol, Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead, Reel Big Fish, Dispatch, Leona Naess, and Me First & The Gimmie Gimmies...and it pains me to say, but I've come to appreciate Tori Amos...and even worst, some Country songs, I know, I know!! :O
My other long term loves are TMBG, Live, Counting Crows, Moby, The Postal Service, Coldplay, The Cure, U2, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dead Can Dance, Enigma, and The Eelsamong others and many many songs of the 80s, not to mention techno. (Take a listen to my station if you are curious, the songs are pretty random.) I will give just about anything a listen.
I prefer independent films that make you think…but will easily settle for a ridiculous comedy. Some favorites include goofy movies like Airplane, Spaceballs, Zoolander, George of the Jungle (*LOL*), Monty Python flicks, most of Kevin Smith's movies (well, not Jersey Girl :D ), then Groundhogs Day, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Emperor's New Groove (had to have Disney, being from FL), Garden State , and What the Bleep Do We Know ... there are others but they are not coming to mind.
Were I to choose to watch it, I enjoy Scrubs, The Daily Show, *OLD* Family Guy episodes, South Park, and reruns of MST3K, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Quantum Leap. Oh...and HGTV can be fascinating. :P
Oh how I love this!! -Thanks James!!!!!!!!
I read rather randomly and then multiple books at the same time when I'm actually reading...
Favorite authors include: Roger Zelazny, Orson Scott Card, Douglas Adams, and Carl Hiaasen, as I find them all quite insightful...and now: Christopher Moore!!!!!
A few favorites are Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (Adams), The Amber Series (Zelazny), Enchantment (Scott Card), and The Alchemist, (Paulo Coelho)...oh and cannot forget: The Giving Tree (Shel Silverstein). And now: LAMB - the best book in the world (Christopher Moore)!!!
I have a hard time with this word. I am most moved by people who live/act in service to others, without losing themselves in the process. I value those with compassion and empathy.
