I am one of the original Space Invader addicts and became so good at it that I could turn the clock eternally.I don't know any other mums that enjoy playing PS2 and computer games but I am proud that I understand game addiction and feel well qualified to argue their theraputic qualities. I will not stop playing as they really help me relax. Looking forward to finding me again with my friends on My Space - its a journey. You find yourself worrying so much about everyone else that you get used to taking a backseat. Who knows I might find something new that I like that I don't know I like yet.I have seen more films in the last few years than in a lifetime but unfortunately they are all kids films - can't complain though. I'd rather watch Madagascar or Ice Age than a lot of adult films - not including X films of course.

I still get the same energy and excitement from it now. It helps me wind down ...... I love Korn, Pantera, Dream Theater, Trivium, Metallica, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Vanden Plas, Queensryche, System of a Down, Evanescence, Alanis Morissette (her words and anger), Muse, Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and about 2,000 others but I also love the oldies such as Led Zeppelin, Yes, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Budgie, Whitesnake, Pat Travers, Queen, Jeff Buckley (especially Grace). (Going to see Deep Purple with Styx in April 2007 - yeeeeeh)I also find a lot of the new groups interesting such as Arctic Monkeys, Orson, Fall Out Boy, Kaiser Chiefs and the Kooks. Lilly Allen is a bit different - and naughty - like it.I have recently found that I love Bangra music and drum and base - YOU MUST LISTEN TO: PENDULUM - SLAM IT. I even like rap which has a bit of attitude.I can't remember the first band that I ever saw but I think it could have been either Whitesnake, Budgie or The Enid. I miss it all!I usually go to gigs with my husband but last year I went with a friend, her teenage girls and my son to see Rooster. I didn't think they would appeal to the men but they were amazing and they rocked. They will be massive - believe me!The best gig I have been to in the last few years, that wins by miles, is Muse - wow - what a performance! This was my son's first gig and not embarrasing at all.... David Bowie was also awesome a couple of years back when he did a load of his old stuff. When he did Life on Mars the men were sobbing as much as the women is was amazing....
