I guess I should tell a little bit about myself. I've been living in Los Angelas with my husband Enzo Cilenti for the past year and really enjoying it here. The food is amasing!
My dream was always to be an actress. I studied acting at the New World School of the Dramatic Arts and the Paris Conservatoire, but before acting I was mostly known for modelling. I did mostly minor Television movies and various films for BBC until "Superstition" and "The Time Machine". I had the honour of playing Helen in "Helen of Troy" for USA Networks. Being chosen to portray the most beautiful woman in the world is completley flattering. But, I believe what I am best known for is "Resident Evil: Apocalypse". I got to play Jill Valentine, who is a kick ass heroine but can still be sexy and give the monsters a run for their money. I'd have to say that "The Principles of Lust" was my favorite to film, and the director Penny Woolcock is just brilliant. To tell the truth I dont wish to be known by my name and face, but skill and acting prowess.
"ERAGON" had its big run in the cinema, and was based on the Christopher Paolini-penned bestselling fantasy novel. I played Arya, a skilled fighter and powerful leader of a combative tribe. I hope all my fans take the time to see the film and read the amasing novel it was based on.
I've also finished "El Corazón de la tierra", or in English "The Heart of the Earth", which my husband will also appear in with myself. I'll be playing Resa in a film called "Inkheart" that will hopefully be finished by 2008. The I'll be the mother of a young girl who's father who has the power to bring characters from books to life by reading those books aloud.
I'm also pleased to announce that I'll be in the new FOX televion program, "The Oaks", which starts shooting for the pilot in November. Its a brilliant story about three families living in the same house over a period of four decades. The families are all haunted by a restless spirit, and connected in different ways. I'll be playing Jessica, the neighbour to the 2008 couple, with some pretty interesting secrets.
I have to admit that because of my hectic working schedule, I cannot get on here to speak to the fans. For that I am sorry, but an assistant of mine helps to run this site and she can only answer general questions.
