I am here for Friends

About Me

This used to be set up to be Dicey's profile, my Oberon character, but I've decided nuff is enuff for now, I guess I might as well make it my own for a while. Dicey's just so much more interesting than I am. Who am I, then? Well, I'm a 35 year old artist, computer geek, roleplayer, and writer. I currently work as a barista - it doesn't pay near enough, but I'm getting by for now. Barely. Part of me wants a better job, but the other part of me LOVES this one, more than any I have had in ages. More than the jobs where I worked a computer and felt all "important". Here, my bosses actually like me and value me. That's different from my last couple of jobs, where I constantly was treated like some wierd trouble maker, always in trouble for things that made no sense to me or weren't really my fault (and I'm not one to refuse to admit when I'm wrong, I know I'm not perfect). I enjoy making people happy by making them perfect drinks. I would like to go to school now, I think, and take some art classes - I've never taken any, even though I've sold a few pieces of art. I'd like to maybe even someday be a "real artist", but I'm not sure if I have it in me or not.
When I have a reliable host, my art can be found at www.Shadesiren.com. If nothing is there, I apologize, and ask that you bookmark it and check back, as soon as I can, I'll get my copious amounts of scribbles and computer stuff.

Um... I have no witty answer to that question.

ARGH.  Hot or cold.  Why can't it be somewhere in the middle.  Hot all yesterday, so I insisted we leave some windows open to cool off the hosue.  Now it's FLIPPIN' FREEZING. ...
