Parallel are two London based musicians/producers, Steve McCarthy and Toby Griffin who work with a variety of singers, fusing vocals with original beats and infectious melodies to create a Futuristic, Retro Funk.
'Everything's Gonna Be Alright' with vocals by street singer Nelson, recorded in New York's Battery Park, is released on the new compilation from Park Lane Recordings, Café Buddha 2.
Parallel appear on several other recent compilations from Park Lane Recordings. 'Interstellar' a morning after chillout featuring vocals from Lollie, can be found on Cafe Ibiza and recent compilation from i-Label, Future Chill.
Eastern influenced tracks 'Eastern Promise' and 'Too Saag Aloo' can be found on Cafe Arabesque and Cafe Krishna.
The band are currently working on their debut album set for release on i-label, with former Darts member, vocalist Kennie Andrews who features on 'You Won't Be Hurting Me', 'Come With Me Baby' and a storming version of the classic 'Walking On Sunshine' by Rockers Revenge and Italian born vocalist Maria Angeli.
