Many bands attribute their success to talent, image, and patience. Although all of these factors apply, Complete Circle attributes their success to chemistry and the sheer joy of doing what they love... writing and performing music! Complete Circle
originally formed back in 1996 as a double brother band from Fayetteville , Pa. Brothers Levi and Jesse Landis started
playing with brothers Wilbur and Brandon Brookens, which birthed an incredible
songwriting team! As years passed, the
guys wrote and produced their first CD entitled, The Road Less Traveled
(2000). Filled with catchy guitar and
piano riffs, intricate layered vocals, and surefire pop songs, over 800 CD's
were sold at shows and in two local music stores. Soon after the release of The Road, Complete Circle fell into a hectic touring schedule in over 12
local and regional bars/clubs in south-central Pa and northern MD including
three college campuses. In 2000, work
for the second CD, Trouble, Beauty, Trouble., (2002) started due to such
high demand by the beloved fan base.
With the release of the CD, Complete Circle gained national exposure on over 400 college
radio stations (Shuteye Records) and was thrust into an even more in depth tour
schedule such as the Summer Days tour that spawned from Lake Placid , NY
to Tallahasse , Fla.
in the summer of 2003. Complete Circle
also has played with a few famous national acts due to the CD. In Spring 2003, Complete Circle played with contemporary rock act Audio
Adrenaline (ForeFront Records) and split the bill with recording artists, Better
Than Ezra (Electra Records) at Roanoke University (Fall 2003).
Presently, Trouble. Beauty. Trouble., has sold over 1400 copies
and is still being sold at all shows.
Currently, Complete Circle is working on their third studio album (to be
released in Winter 2005), which is greatly anticipated by their dedicated fan
base in surrounding towns!
Complete Circle has made
tremendous amounts of success off of their first two CD releases and is still
dedicated to rocking out! In the winter
of 2004, singer/guitar player Levi Landis left the band for personal reasons,
leaving three original members of CC plus three new additions. Currently Jesse Landis plays bass/lead
vocals, Brandon Brookens plays drums/keyboards/lead vocals, Wilbur (Bill)
Brookens plays lead guitar/backup vocals, and Shawn Hann plays drums/percussion. Also the most recent addition to the circle is Mike Quinlivan on the guitar.
Now a Complete Circle show is not only filled with catchy originals that have driving rhythms and leads, killer drumbeats, and superb 3-4 part harmonies, but with a stage show that is twice as fantastic and exciting! Everyone teams up to mold the perfect rocking show in true Complete Circle fashion every time. Brookens and Landis trade off as front men, Hann fills in for drums when Brandon smokes the keyboard allowing Bill to wail on his leads, while Mike adds his brilliance in guitarmanship to the whole song!
With much success behind their belts, Complete Circle is on their way to achieve much more! The band has already increased their local touring schedule from Baltimore to Harrisburg 2-3 nights a week. So be on the lookout for one of the Tri-states hottest acts! Be prepared, they may come to a venue near you! www.completecircle.com
