My name is Malin.I'm one of those people who can't stand still when I hear music. Kind of annoying sometimes, but that's just me.
Anyway, that's why dance was a huge passion for me for many years. It still is but I found out that my body wanted to do it's own thing instead of being choreographed.
Maybe it was the love for music and rhythms that made me move from the beginning?? For me, music and dance is one thing. You can't have one without the other.
I've always been writing. Not music but lyrics.
Don't know when it started but one day I wrote something that had a verse and a chorus and a rhythm. It was not a song but not a poem. I think I read it to a friend who is a bassist and he thought it was cool so we started to write together.
My voice, oh my voice....yes, it was not always doin what I wanted and I wanted to learn how to be nothing else but me.
I went to an audition for a music school here in Stockholm and got in.Those years in school opened up my throat, ears and mind in a way that is hard to describe for anyone who hasn't been through the same thing.
So here I am some years later, still jumping up and down when I hear something that moves me.....
Right now I'm working on something that I call "Love story" which includes "If you let me be a woman". I hope I'll have some new tracks to share with you soon so you can hear the rest of the Story.
Until then......ahhh...no that's enough!
