Um Computers and their games, mainly xbox and my prized PSP. Making (bad) + watching (great) music. Beautifying things in the name of Graphic Design, generally just being a relaxed kind of fellow. Keeping semi-fit by playing 5-a-side as regularly as I can. Talking too much.
This douchebag:
Lauren Laverne's interviews are wank, but he's a rather gifted man, eh what?

Get some Button Pressers in your life.
Babyshaker and Architeq both slapped me in the face recently. Have a gander. Now.
The little Constellation/Kranky stable of people like Godspeed... do make say think, fly pan am, exhaust and whathaveyous float my boat.
Benoit Pioulard is great
Listen to a certain amount of folk, more modern stuff like Joanna Newsom, Sufjan Stevens, Cat Power, Fiona Apple, Tunng, PJ Harvey etc as well as yer Simon and Garfunkels, Neil Youngs & Nick Drakes.
Dischordy/mathy stuff is all good, Q and Not U, Faraquet, French Toast, Fugazi, Battles, Don Cab, Les Savy Fav, Ten Grand, Trail of Dead, At The Drive-In etc, as well as all the standard adolescent male favourites such as Mogwai, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, all I can really think of at the mo blah blah blah.
Oh actually I highly reccomend that you go and buy Handwriting by Khonnor. Lovely warm textured sleepy/stoned sometimes-angsty laptop folk. For winter and falling asleep.
Anything and everything, recently saw Superman Returns which was fucking brilliant, and A Scanner Darkly which was most impressive.
I'm kind of a sucker for sleepy character developmenty not a lot happens kinda movies. Cue Wonderboys, Beautiful Girls, Igby Goes Down, Lost In Translation, Garden State and all sorts of other stuff like that. Sci Fi is always good, as is Ghibli etc.
Catch 22, Toast, Kerouac etc. I'm not much of a reader... though I should probably mention that my favourite book ever is Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger which the lovely Ellie gave me for my 20th birthday.
I also cultivated an extreme affection for the work of illustrator James Kochalka, google him.
