Scars Of Its Creation were formed in the summer of 2005 by Scott Paterson (Beyond the Buried) on Drums, Stuart Cooney (Little Empire) guitar, Jonathan Diggins- guitar, and Scott kennedy (Bleed From Within) on vocals. The band only had two practices with this lineup, as Scott Kennedy decided to focus on Bleed From Within. Working as a three piece without bass or vocals the band wrote four songs: "Track 2" untitled, These Bitter Minds, Turn of the Screw and Shadenfreude with the intention of recording a demo ep and gigging once a vocalist and bassist were found. Gareth Kerr (Little Empire) and Jamie McLaughlin (Little Empire) later joined as vocalist and bassist respectively. However, due to members' other bands and uni work Scars was unable to practice regularly and often had long breaks preventing them from progressing towards the recording of their ep and gigging. It was during these long breaks in the winter of 2006 that Jonathon left the band. Ross Broom then joined as guitarist. However, the band continued to have few and far between practices, only managing to practice once with this new lineup, and in Summer of 2007 decided to call it a day. The songs on the myspace are the four mentioned previously and all but "These Bitter Minds" are just recordings of the guitar parts for the songs by Stuart and Jonathan. The version of "Shadenfeude" on the myspace begins with the intro intended for the ep played on piano by Jonathan, with some help from Stuart. "These Bitter Minds" was recorded live at a studio practice during the last Scars practice.

Stuart, Gareth and Jamie have just formed Little Empire, an acoustic band. They recently played the ABC2 and headlined the Barrowlands 2, amongst other gigs. They have live recordings up at the moment, all of which are recorded at their Barrowlands gig. They intend to record their debut ep in 2008.
Scott Kennedy's Bleed From Within, were signed to Four Aces Records and their debut ep is out Septmber '07. They will be gigging extensively for its release.
